Our Story

Hi, I am Priya Goel, founder of Rani Pink New York.

As a child, I loved helping my parents decide what to wear. Every morning, I would choose my dad’s tie to go with his shirt and blazer. Looking back, I realise that early love of colour, print and putting things together was one of the first things that brought me genuine joy.

Coming from a family of doctors and engineers, I followed what felt like the safer, more conventional path and built a career in analytics. But after more than a decade in the field, I found myself longing for the creativity I had always enjoyed as a child.

Rani Pink New York grew from that desire to reconnect with a part of myself I had never really let go of. It is a way for me to explore my love of textiles, craftsmanship and thoughtful design, while creating pieces that feel personal, useful and made to be cherished.

What began as a return to creativity has become something much more meaningful: a celebration of the beauty in handmade things, the stories behind traditional craft, and the joy of bringing colour and pattern into everyday life.
